What I Love the Most!

There are a lot of things that I love about Ethan. Here are a few...

I LOVE his many faces...

...especially his Benjamin Button old man face!

I LOVE when he attempts to suck on his hands, although most of the time this means he ends of punching himself in the face.

I LOVE when he hangs out with the animals disguised as a caterpillar.

I LOVE how he can fall asleep anywhere, anytime and with anything in his face.

Most of all I love, Love, LOVE when he busts out the baby Superman stretch.

One Month

Monday was Ethan's one month doctor visit.

Weight- 8 lbs 3 oz

So far most days look like this...

Most of his days are split between sleeping and staring... mostly me staring at him. I can't get enough of our guy!

Great Grandma!

Ethan got to meet his Great Grandma this last weekend! She sure spoiled him! He is her 4th great grandchild.

Favorite

Dear Ethan,

Today was day one of just you and me. You were super fussy all day. Then Dad came home... Guess who was no longer fussy? I can't believe you already have a favorite. I don't blame you. He is my favorite too.

Love Mom

P.S. Let's shoot for a less fussy day two!

Ready for Opening Day!

This is Aaron's favorite Ethan outfit. And the baseball was the first thing that Aaron purchased for Ethan. He wants our boy to be a professional baseball player. While I was pregnant Aaron would encourage me to think left. Apparently left handed pitchers make loads of money. Aaron would also tell me that once Ethan was born that he was going to tie our sons right hand behind his back so his left hand would become the strongest. Don't worry he was only joking, at least I hope.

Where does Ethan sleep?

When I was looking for ideas on how to decorate the nursery, I knew two things:

1. I wanted to keep it simple, and

2. I did not want to paint!

But the more I searched for decorating ideas the more frustrated I became, because I just could not find anything that I liked. Finally, my mom suggested a Dr. Seuss theme. My brother had a Dr. Seuss themed room when he was little and my mom had kept some of the room decor she had used. She offered to let me have it. I was a little skeptical of a Dr. Seuss theme at first, but I ended up finding some great stuff in addition to the great stuff my mom gave me. I think the room came together very well. Check it out!
